Santorum is the type who's probably struggling to be straight or gay. You can tell the types. They try especially hard to be macho and hate gays. These are exactly the types who are torn inside.
Many in the religious right are this way as well, which is why they care so much about gay issues, when most of us don't even feel affected by it all.
