In one of your posts, you mentioned that he was a Bohra.. A community that I know quite well.. know the history etc.. Lots of Bohras are from Gujrat and Gujrati is the mother tongue.. A language in which I am actually quite proficient..

I am sure it will be an interesting experience although I must admit closest I have ever come across is chicken in bazaar.. In Bangladesh.. As you probably know, when you are buying chicken in 3rd world country, you actually do pick a live one, the deed is done more or less in front of you, cleaned, plucked and delivered.. I remember when I was young and sent for this or even buying meat at the butchers, my appetite was short to hell.. lol.. Some thing to be said for doing it though.. Makes you think what you are about to eat.. Nothing comparable in terms of sights and sounds and smell of buying your food in Bazaars in Asia.

Now a days everything is so sanitized..
