Vernie, I tend to agree; I had an exchange w/ Dr Brett a while back re: how the emini daytraders had long ago switched to the Russell emini vice the NDX due to greater ATR and apparent "market leadership" qualities. Yesterday I had a similar exchange in response to feedback I received: Does the NAZ lead anymore? And does the SOX lead the NAZ? Lately of course (clearly since Oct 1st) the SOX has certainly "lagged", and more recently so has the NAZ. In the end tho, if everything collapses we'll say they were leaders, so maybe this is a bit premature...
