True, it was a long time between WTC attacks. And Osama and co have long attention spans, unlike conventional wisdom about USA attention spans. So they say. And it does seem true. That's because their ideology runs in millennia rather than individual life-spans [that's my theory].

And, Osama has enough credibility with me that I suspect he really is thinking they will come up with a comparable or better attack and my guess is lots of apartment buildings going up at once. Or, lots of water supplies poisoned. Or electricity cuts. I think they like big bangs so the explosives in apartments is my pick. Polonium would be a lot of fun for them, but I doubt they can get their hands on much of that.

But, there was an interesting aspect to the murder of the Russian with polonium. He suddenly announced, on his death-bed, that he was in fact Moslem. Well, what about that?!! Suddenly I was thinking that he was maybe deserving of death as an aspirational Islamic Jihad terrorist. After Beslan, I could understand Russia killing any Moslems hinting at Islamic Jihad. I have no information that he was an evil-doer, but if we believe that people take Islam seriously, the jihad aspect of it is probably more essential than "fries with that?"
