I think that applies to every profession. Who would want a full service broker with 6 months experience? Not that I use full service brokers anymore.

" As long as he/she kept up with the science" Yes, I once encountered a decidedly third-rate state geologist of a New England state who dismissed plate tectonics as "speculative." Sometimes I feel I give the impression of being a total geek for posting so much on SI, but in fact I am between a three-mile walk and a four-hour New Year's Day buffet/party. But I am glad that Australian and Canadian markets will be open tomorrow. Incidentally: latest TradeTech U quote is still $72, but there had been little market activity because of holidays.
