Rudi, have you tried System Restore? That takes you back to before the error occurred. My tech hates that I use it and wants to delete it from my computer, but in no way would I let him do that. When he is busy and can't come to repair it, I always try that and lots of times it is something that can be corrected by using that. Also saves you money spent on a tech. Mine charges $65.00 an hour, so it is not cheap.

Also Carolyn made a good suggestion. Go to the Computer Learning thread and there is always many to help you get things straightened out. Every one posting there are also so great in helping anyone that posts a question for help. I read it all the time even when I am not having any problems with my computer in case someone else had a problem and got an answer I might need. Good for future help in times of need. They are a very patient group, I know as they have helped me many times. They believe there is no such thing as a dumb question by anyone. A great recommendation.
