QID would be fine for a very short trade up to a few days. But it will also have erosion of capital over time because of the leverage.

If you note the wording in the prospectus it is designed to match the "daily" performance of an index...but it will not correspond to an index over time, because of the mathematics of using leveraged instruments.

I spent a lot of time researching this and gaining first hand knowledge from trading them.

I used to have a forum here for a PROFUNDS method I developed.I had to stop because of family issues but may get back into it some day.
