More of it would be spent -- the poor save less than the rich -- money given to the poor goes back into the economy much more quickly than money given to the rich. That's a fact.

And all wealthy people are just like Paris Hilton? I suppose your right, everyone who is wealthy has inherited their wealth, and than just been extravagant and silly with it. None of them worked hard, none of them applied intelligence to overcome difficulties, or came up with important or useful new ideas. So silly of me for thinking that the desire to get or increase wealth might cause anyone to produce more wealth and make society better off.
