Why is that.

Also, a cursory check of the 'raw' figures doesn't show Somalia.

If I'm reading this chart correctly, in 2004 the total deaths under Bush was 1887. Giving him 1189 on average for his Presidency.

Also, these figures exclude active duty Guard and Reserve. I don't know how that figures in the Bush stats since, if I remember correctly, some 40% of those in Iraq are Guard and Reserves.

BTW the 'raw' figures show exactly 1 person dying of hostile action under Clinton. That is a decent number.
