I agree. More rules mean fewer choices for those who are picking at the end of the season.

Maybe GB/ Chi is a classic to you, but not to everyone else on the board, so if you want you can choose that game if it is your turn to pick. As you can see, San Francisco, Kansas City, Arizona and Detroit were not chosen, so that solves that argument...

If push comes to shove and there is a "must have" game at the end season, and they've used up there three allotments, then I'm sure the board would go along with picking that game, but not everyone on the board is in agreement with the Giants and Dallas being picked five times.

5 times = Giants/Dallas

4 times = New Orleans/Indianapolis/New England/Jacksonville

3 times = Denver/Cincinnati/Carolina/Baltimore/San Diego

2 times = Tennessee/Atlanta/Jets/Philadelphia/Green Bay/Miami/
Pittsburgh/Washington/Chicago/St. Louis/Seattle

1 time = Minnesota/Buffalo/Cleveland/Houston/Tampa Bay

[Edit: San Francisco, Kansas City, Arizona and Detroit were not chosen.]

So we have the 2nd and 3rd placed teams of the NFC East chosen over all the others, 5 times.

Next we have the NO 1st place NFC South, Indy, 1st place AFC South, Patriots 1st place AFC East, and Jaguars 3rd in the AFC: at least 3 our of 4 of these teams were the division leaders..4 times. One over our recommendation.

3 times picked were Denver 3rd in AFC West, Cinn. 2nd in AFC north, Carolina 2nd in NFC South, Baltimore 1st in AFC North, and San Diego 1st in AFC West

2 times picked Philly #1 in NFC East, Chicago # 1 in NFC North, Seattle, # 1 NFC west Jets #2 AFC EAST St Louis # 2 NFC West, Packers # 2 NFC North etc...

1 time = Minnesota/Buffalo/Cleveland/Houston/Tampa Bay

This is the break down...do you see any discrepancies?

In other words, we were simply trying to even the picks out a bit more amongst the other teams, teams who should have been picked at least 3 times!
