Well, if you run into that source again, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

(For example --- I'm *reasonably certain* that the Iranian Shiites are NOT arming or supplying the folks they are fighting against, the SUNNIS, that wouldn't make any sense. Our military has already publicly stated on *numerous occasions* that the SUNNI insurgency is receiving "unlimited financing and re-supply from Saudi Arabia and fellow neighboring Sunni States".)

So... whatever percent of the IED threat facing our guys comes from the SUNNI INSURGENTS is almost certainly not of Iranian provinence.

And, I was under the impression that IED-style attacks, and market bombings, etc., were MOSTLY (but not entirely) the handiwork of the Sunni Insurgents, the Baathists, etc... while the midnight kidnappings and death squad murders of Sunnis were mostly the handiwork of the SHIITES and their Militias and agents inside the government security services, such as the Interior Ministry.

So... that would seem to rule out the possibility of '70%' of the IEDs coming from Iranians.
