the US can learn a thing or two from ETHIOPIA, who apparently knows how to tackle the islamic menace: Eritrean, Ethiopian rebel Oromo and Arab fighters taken prisoner in battles to oust Islamists from Somalia January 2, 2007, 2:38 PM (GMT+02:00) Ethiopia has long accused Ereitrea of sending hundreds of soldiers to fight with the Somali anti-government Islamists, who were driven out of their last bastion, the southern port of Kismayo Monday, Jan. 1. Somali PM Ali Mohamed Gedi says foreign extremists will be tried and punished without mercy while Somalis who lay down their arms will be pardoned. He said Ethiopian units who spearheaded the government’s victory will leave Somalia when the country is stabilized and purged of terrorists. NATO is only having so much trouble today in Afghanistan because WE didn't go in there with sufficient troops and money to get the job done in the first place. The Bush Administration was too busy planning for the invasion of Iraq to care about Afghanistan. We never really secured the country other than Kabul. If we had put everything needed into Afghanistan, then we could have solidified our bond with Mushariff in Pakistan and gotten rid of the Taliban and their Al Queada friends all together. It WASN'T the American Left that let bin Laden and his lieutenant set up shop in Pakistan along with Omar and his Taliban. It was BUSH and Rumsfeld.
