2007 will be the year the Bush-Cheney-Delay dream finally ends in total defeat and humiliation. That alone is enough to uplift the nation and give people hope that we will have a much better government going forward, and that we can preserve our democracy and Constitutional freedoms at the same time. Of course expect some pain in the process. Iraq is going to be painful no matter what. And soon the bill will arrive for all the Bushie deficit spending and refusal to promote energy efficiency and conservation. The borrow and spend Bush economy has always been unsustainable and soon this will be very apparent.
