I don't look at many threads. What bothers me is the pretense (common to JohnM and others) of being very thoughtful and impartial--while spewing out extremist diatribes against his President and his country. It is one thing to discuss a matter while holding a particular viewpoint. It is quite another to be pretentious and smug with regard to anyone not holding your particular brand of toadyism. The love-in between Baker, Ick, and JohnM is really a hate-in. Their toady love fest is simply a cover for an intense hatred of their betters--both on and off the thread. Anyone who does not grovel to Baker's maniacal extremism is instantly attacked by JohnM and accused of "flaming" or insincerity. Can you imagine the kind of world the three of them would create if they had any authority? Can you imagine what would constitute a crime and what would constitute FAIR trial?? The answer is in every post over there: grovel and "get your mind right"...OR ELSE. If anyone remembers the movie "Cool Hand Luke" and the tactics used to get Newman to "get his mind right", they will experience some insight into this supercilious swaggering.
