If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...it's probably a duck. Call it what you want, but that certainly sounds like TA to me (used as I believe it should be, as an ADJUNCT to fundamental analysis). One more comment and then I will give it a rest. You stated that you look at the charts to see if a particular issue is overvalued or undervalued, but only fundamental analysis can answer that question. Charts can tell you all about price, but almost nothing about value, imo. What they CAN tell you is if a stock is overbought or oversold, which may seem like semantics, but I think it's an important distinction.
