I agree. But I think he just made a mistake- and failed to realize the problem. Heck- we all make mistakes. I just made an accounting mistake calculating the damn %'s- but I can admit that- and (very nicely) no one called me any names for making the mistake. It's much easier to admit it when one isn't being called names. I think logic is the only way we have to communicate, and if we make any connections at all- from different points of the political spectrum- it will be through logic, and through a willingness to believe that a mistake is just a mistake, and is capable of being corrected, rather than a lie. Obviously some things that could be mistakes may be lies, but I think mistakes are more common, and it's nice to give the other person the benefit of the doubt.
