"I must admit I am hard pressed to have any sympathy for Saddam or the Sunnis who are the backbone of the insurgency.... Nor do I. The execution of Saddam was lonnnnnnnnnng over due. If people felt relieved or even joy at his demise, I can't hold that against them. That was not my point in criticising the event at all. The ideas of justice and vendetta must be clearly distinguishable.
