But the military is STILL losing soldiers to all those other categories- and you have to add on the folks lost in Iraq, and the trend is not your friend when it comes to the numbers of soldiers lost YOY in Iraq. Would you not agree that the trend is problematic?

Perhaps a chart comparing the US military deaths in Iraq vs. Kosovo (Bush vs Clinton?) would be more useful, although I'm not sure what the point of that would be either, other than one might argue that it shows which President was more intelligent about picking places to meddle in.
