well, I will have to bow to your greater knowledge. I remember .75% of both Ni and Cu. for Inco. However, that would include the low grade, bulk mining areas at Stobie and Creighton, so if you are thinking Levack, Garson of #6 shaft area of Creighton, I can believe 3%. (and real good widths also)

Starfire release said the +9% Ni over 1.27 feet was within the 4.48% Nickel over 5.55 metres. TW was about 60% so really 4.48% over 3.33 m. The Langmuir was mined by an independent that went broke when Ni was in the $3 range. At $15 my attitude changes.

One hole wonder?? I am positively influenced by the existence of the 2 Langmuir ore-bodies (one of which extends onto the SFR land, and am anticipating more good holes as they get a handle on this new showing or new extension.

To correct a possible mis-impression. The shaft and ramp are on an adjacent property so there will have to be some arrangements made with the neighbors (Inspiration).

With price around 30 cents, and when I look at LBE, I figured it was a good deal. They also have other properties in the Shaw Dome area of Timmins that have good potential for further nickel.

And getting back to your Inco comparison, FNX has done all right picking up Inco scraps, but I certainly do not imply there is any comparison between FNX and SFR.

My thinking is changing after thinking about how to answer your questions. I have done well with FNX and LBE. FNX have done real well expanding the ore picture at both Levack and McCreedy west, have made money mining McCreedy, and I am sure there is lots more good news coming from Norman Twp and the Totten area. I think FNX is a potential take over candidate and consider it one of my "blue chips".

LBE has been losing money so far, have had some exploration success, and I reckon the SP is a reflection of people's assessment of the potential.

FNI is the Falconbridge eqiv. of the Inco FNX. There have been some terrible stories making the rounds about the competence of management and in particular operations people. I am sure you know them better than I. They have had exploration success, and in the last quarter made some decent money.

I look at BMC as a money maker and do not give high marks for exploration success thus far.

The market appears to reward exploration success, not oper. results. After going thru this exercise, my mind is not made up, but maybe FNI is where I should be. Another good hole out of SFR would make the SP move some more, but from a common sense point of view one should be heavier towards FNI and BMC.

Gotta think some more!

Thanks for the stimulation!
