I live in Alaska-lol. And the irony is that we have had a record rainy and cold year. No summer at all and record rain and snow fall.

Washington state and BC have had a hell of a year also for storms.

This year will be interesting as we have a big el nino in the Pacific ocean compounding things.

I think the two main fears most climatologists have is massive flooding near term and a potential Venus/Permian age heat debacle long term.

A few pacific islands have already had to be evacuated; and Greenland is really coming apart pretty fast which could shut down the Gulf stream conveyor belt which warms Europe.
