Klaus

Please read AMDs statements you posted before accusing AMD of fraud:
The statement wrt or OEM offerings is clearly related to Vista. Try to sue AMD for the unavailability of Vista.
Or try to find a judge who is willing to file an order for AMD to sell its newest products to you first. :)

Vista? Yes it mentions Vista but it was AMD's press release for 65nm introduction.

AMD Drives Next Generation of Energy-Efficient Computing with 65nm Technology Transition

— AMD continues track record of on-schedule process technology transitions with rapid conversion to 65nm —

SUNNYVALE, CALIF. -- December 5, 2006 --Launching the next generation of energy-efficient computing, AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced the transition to 65nm process technology, beginning with the immediate availability of energy-efficient AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 dual-core desktop processors.

Immediate availability. The term "immediate" is clear and unambiguous. It means now, not tomorrow, not next week, not next year but now.

If this was an Intel launch the cries here of fraud would be deafening. Because it is AMD there is no outrage whatsoever. Why? This is an investors forum and not a fanclub. When fraud happens it needs to be pointed out.

Get a grasp on this Klaus. There is no 65nm product.

BTW, ya just gotta love the part about "AMD continues track record of on-schedule process technology transitions". Who else but AMD could make such a statement and have their fans believe every word of it?

K, there is no reasonable reading that can remotely have the meaning you claim. Not a single one of the people who like to read and write good things about AMD understood IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY to have anything to do with Vista. And tempting the moderator to ban me permanently, I'll say you made this up with no facts what-so-ever, giving even a thin excuse.
