A society and culture which does not value a man's death, in it's ultimate illusory, becomes shallow and superficial. This society surely will fail.

Paraphrasing from Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now. It is a great spiritual honor to be present at the time of a man’s death. It doesn’t matter if the man is a mass murderer.

Saddam Hussein was not suffering at the time of his death. He was resolved to his fate. The people who were suffering at the time of Saddam’s death were in the room taunting him. He was mocking them. He was mirroring them. He did not have to live with his thoughts and his feeling any more. He was already dead and he knew it. He had the noose on his head to prove it. The people who will continue to suffer taunted him in his death.

The Kangeroo Court that executed him, If that is our best attempt at Civilized Government and our best attempt at establishing a civilized democracy with a billion dollars spent. I don’t want anything to do with it. If that is our best attempt at establishing a civilized system of laws in life as well as death then I don’t want anything to do with it.

I have a great pain over what happened during the death of Saddam Hussein. I value death. I value the time of the passing of a man in to death. SaddamHussein was who he was. He lived his life. He accepted his fate. He died with his eyes wide open. He obviously made some mistakes in his life. But he was not suffering any more.

I am very saddened by this. I am very saddened with the system of governance that allowed this to happen. I am saddened by the way it was all carried out and the systematic brow beating that allowed this to happen.

If this is our best attempt at installing a civilized government and rule of law then surely we have failed.
