Iran (the largest Shiite nation) supports them just as many of the fundamentalists associated with SUNNI states (such as the Whabbists from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, etc., etc.) support the Hamas organization --- a Sunni organization. And, while both Hamas and Hezbollah are religious/social/political organizations opposed to Israel, they are ALSO 'opposed' to EACH OTHER, and competing for public support and popularity (& thus, political power) with EACH OTHER. (Hezbollah also has much support within the majority population of IRAQ that is SHIITE --- the Iraqi Shiites represent the largest group of Shiites outside of Iran....)
