Asians are nuts about gambling. When I first was presented to my later in laws, their first question was if I were a gambler. Next it went if I were a drunk with the final question being the size of my income.

All of that was nothing compared to my basic handicap of being non Japanese. Those guys are the worst racists.

Anyway, eventually I qualified and - believe it or not - made up there with the best in their opinion.

They're expecting that Macao Island [off Hong Kong] will be bigger than Las Vegas when its finished.

I don't think Macau is an island. I'm going there in June for a few days, will let you know for sure.
