Actually, I was talking about the TOTAL WEALTH (& rate of change) for the ENTIRE SOCIETY, not for any discrete sub-sectors.

(I simply tried to point out that home ownership / R.E. ownership still represents a *much larger* portion of American society's total wealth then stock market investments do. Though... as you correctly point out, the percentage of the total that equity & bond market investments represents has has been rather steadily inching higher for decades.)
