Thanks russet, that is exactly what is going on with the global warming debate. Sort of reminds me of how we got into this war as well. What GW and company and the corporations have learned is that they can say, or buy someone to say anything and many if not most of the people will believe it. Look at just how crazy GW and the republicans had to get before the people voted them out! That is what is really scary. It looks like anything less than potential destruction of the world just does not convince people of things they do not want to believe. I mean look at the bill of goods GW sold to the public regarding the war and 1/2 the population bought it, after 4 years of listneing to the nonsense. As recently as today GW is still tying the Iraq war to 9/11---geeesh-lol. The 9/11 tragedy was caused by Saudies folks, not Iraqies-lol.
