RMF..."lorne...There isn't really ANY comparison between WWII and the Iraq war.".... I/we were not talking about the Iraq war... I/we were talking ..I thought ..about the war against radical islam. And my comment was that the world of islam MUST be sent a message they will never forget...that is why I referred to Japan and how the war ended and that now Japan is one of the Americas strongest allies... because the USA fought to win. ...."You have to remember that we dropped 2 nukes on Japan but we didn't try to destroy ALL the Japanese."... I think everyone is aware of that...and who said anything about destroying ALL of the muslims????..I said send the world of islam a message they will never forget. ...."You seem to confuse ALL of Islam with Islamic terrorists."..... I am not at all confused...take a look around the world and see what so called moderate islam is doing to innocent people. And if the radical islamists should appear to be getting the upper hand in whatever country they are trying to invade what side do you think that the so called moderate moslums of said country would be on???? Again I say that the world of islam must be sent a message they will NEVER forget...and that means ALL of them. The so called moderates need a reason to speak out against the radicals spawned by their religion...and a powerful sledgehammer message might just do the trick. ...."There are about 2 billion (I think) Muslims in the world, so it would seem you need to differentiate between the ones you want to sledgehammer and the ones that might not need such a drastic solution.".... IMO they all need a very powerful, powerful sledgehammer message they will never forget. If they so called moderates fear the infidels more than they fear the radical in their cult just maybe they will do something about getting rid of them ALL. Would you like to live in their kind of world and do you care anything at all about future generations in our civilized world?
