If Obama does run, and he's not running yet, he knows what he's in for. Big trouble. And maybe getting knocked out with a single cleverly sleazy TV ad. One that frames him as a Muslim extremist degenerate radical. I kid you not. I know he's Christian and a great guy, but his father and stepfather were both Muslim. And he was named Muslim. That simply won't sell beyond the Dem base. Wait eight years though and maybe. Maybe.

It is extremely unlikely the 2008 president will be a black man or a woman anyway, or that the Dem party will nominate one. Even though we all love Obama and many people like Hillary. We are also not suicidal. There was a good reason no one voted for Howard dean after all the hype. He may have turned on the base but he was un-electable. Hillary and Obama are also more or less un-electable. Let's just hope we don't find out the hard way. The Greek immigrant "we'll get all the immigrants" Dukakis BS and the Geraldine Ferraro "we'll get all the women" ideas failed too. Miserably.

Besides, Obama is not qualified and very liberal. He won his first election only with Jesse Jackson's help, against the founder of the Black Panther Party Bobby Seale. Think about that a moment. You think that sells in rural Missouri? Do you actually know anyone from those towns? I do. We're lucky if they'd vote for Gore or Kerry. But they would, this time. For sure. Just give them a candidate they don't have to start a revolution to vote for. That's all.
