I've read that the most common work experience of these CPA'ers was that they had run or assisted in running political campaigns back home. I also read that they were only required to serve a 3-month tour. That last thing is what really struck me(probably hard to prove the first thing).

I'd be really curious what the tour of duty was in the Balkans for this sort of work. I can't imagine it was only 3 months.
