You guys sort heroes by Sex? wow......that is weird..... Doesn't a heroic life or heroic act transcend Sexual Politics? I mean if someone is a great teacher, they are great as a teacher, not as a man or woman but as a teacher? When I was very young I thought the greatest story I had ever heard was a portrait of Dorian Grey. The writer was a Hero in my eyes, to conceive of that story. That he wrote that story in spite of or because of who he was didn't enter my mind. He inspired an urge to read in me, and to think in some ways. His sexualities didn't even become known to me till I was almost 30. (small town not many books)
