Bush was also a major cocaine user in his younger days. In fact the reason he disappeared from duty in 1971 may have been because he was arrested for coke, something the family went to great pains to make disappear. The evidence? GW Bush was seen doing community service in inner city Houston in 1971, the kind of thing people are sentenced to instead of jail. Bush has never shown any interest in doing charity work otherwise in his entire life. The author who wrote about this in "Fortunate Son" was stopped by the Bush family and was found dead 6 months later.
