Pelosi is a huge breath of fresh air in our government. The country is very much relieved today. As Joe Scarborough (a real conservative) said tonight, the Delay congress disgraced not only its country but the GOP too, and hurt us all. It will go down in history as a pack of thieves. But Pelosi has ascended to be perhaps one of this country's most imminent and memorable leaders. She really does seem to have the right stuff, and she's way too smart and fair-minded to govern too far from the left.
