Get a job at Home Depot $210 million severance package

Home Depot Inc. (HD) co-founder Bernie Marcus said he supports the mutual decision made by the home improvement retailer's board and Bob Nardelli, the company's former chairman and chief executive, who resigned Wednesday.

Nardelli left the company Wednesday with a $210 million severance package, amid controversy over his compensation, management style and the company's share performance.

Nardelli was replaced by Frank Blake, the company's vice chairman.

In Marcus' Thursday release, he said he has the "utmost confidence" in Blake's leadership and "people skills."
