The US didn't want to give him up, but it is their court system. So they did. you have a problem with that ?

>What slays me is that they are blaming the US. The US had nothing to do with it the execution. What jerks! Wasn't Saddam in US custody until just before the execution? Yes, but the trial, the sentencing and the method of execution were all determined by the Iraqis. In fact, the Americans suggested that they not execute Saddam on a Muslim holiday but the Iraqis ignored that recommendation. How they can be holding the US accountable is beyond me........but then the Iraqis don't seem to operate in a very rational fashion.
