In a Bush family biography the author said that the grandfather, Prescott, only sent notes of condolence to the dead airman in Bush's plane that had graduated from an Ivy League school.

He didn't feel the "common folk" warranted any sympathy cards.

Prescott also was ticked off royally by the introduction of the GI Bill because "common folk" would be able to attend his beloved Yale.

With an ass as a family patriarch, it's no wonder the Bush's are dimwitted.
