I remember huge black flies up north just as agressive and annoying as deer flies down here, only much bigger.

I'm thinking it might dry up though.. Would much of our arctic not be desert if warmer ? I read that somewhere ... BTW I used to live in Cranberry Portage Manitoba... I've seen a few of those flying fortresses ... but they moved like Stukas I think one tried to carry me off one day but my mom managed to shoot it down ;O)

Other than the obvious coastline stuff Koan rightfully mentioned I think a lot is just not known.. Heck Maybe it's really a plot by the Swiss and the Nepalese to take over the world ;o)
