I would guess they scan in a page and send it over the internet.

At home I use one of those "3 in 1" HPs that send the inbound fax to the computer; then I decide whether or not to print it.

Hm. I recently dropped from 6 landlines at the house to 3. Everyone has a cell phone so I could go to just the one for the fax...

But I'll never get my wife to buy into that. It's an effort for her just to take it with her when leaving the house.

But I have to think about that eFax deal. I'll betcha I could use that instead of the landline.
