I don´t know but it must be rough for Moto now that the "thin line" is not quite so hot anymore and when Nokia owns India and dominates China. They better come up with new hits they can sell for hundreds of dollars. The trends move on.
Of course the huge growth in India, China and other emerging markets will drag down the ASP and margin for all participants. Hard way to make money but someone has to do it.

Motorola managed to milk the RAZR line for over two years which is much longer than I think anybody predicted they would. The question is....will the Scalpel platform live up to the hype? I think the MOTOFONE is a good start, but they are going to need to come up with something new in the mid and high-ends.

More broadly, if the handset manufacturers cant up with some new products to spur another upgrade cycle in developed countries, the entire industry will be in trouble. The unit growth is great but doesnt mean much if both ASP's and margins are falling through the floor.
