Geode, get a grip, or improve your vocabulary: <What has happened since in Iraq is beyond words.> What has happened in Iraq is not only not beyond words, it's not even particularly odd in the annals of human conquests and conflict. There are plenty of words to describe all that's going on. One would hardly need to break into 3 syllables to handle it. Sentences could be short. There's not much abstraction. It's not as though one would be trying to describe how quantum tunneling works or what makes phragmented photons fly.

What is going on in Iraq is no big deal. Of course it is for the individuals concerned, but there are 6 billion of us, and overall, it's a bit of a yawn. Check out some of the processes in the 20th century for something more significant.

Most people are more worried about chatting up the girl down the road, or pulling a sickie, or getting stuck in another traffic jam.
