Pro Saddam is marching around with his picture, as Iraqis are apparently doing. Seeing him as the least bad solution is saying, "Oh Crap, it would be nice if there was a better solution than this dictator, but damn, there isn't one." I see a difference there, just as I see a difference between someone who really loves death, and enjoys killing people, and the soldier who kills people because he is ordered to and it is his duty. The actions may look exactly the same, but the rationale behind them is completely different, and the logic is different, and will play out differently in other situations.
