I'm not saying anything. I didn't write the article and I don't vouch for it. If anything you've just pointed out a conflict in some of the article claims. Do you think it's likely that Intel would come out with a derivative before the actual base product?

Well, if they did, it would devalue the meaning of the term "derivative..." :)

As for me, I was just noting that Intel has consistently pulled in products over the last year, so it is not unreasonable to think they are on a roll.

It's your prerogative to assume that. It just sounds a little preachy and optimistic to me, especially when you state the assumption in response to what appears to be a delay (thus my "50% off mattress sale" comment.)
