Kerry's policies would have saved 3000 troops lives and 20,000 fewer wounded plus the terrorists would be much worse off and Al Qaida would be wiped out.

Kerry's top domestic issue right now is making sure vets get coverage for post-traumatic stress disorder, which tens of thousands are suffering from. Kerry wrote the Veterans Bill Of Rights a year ago. He is a Silver Star winning combat vet and enjoys respect from all of our troops, except for a few rightwing extremists who believe we should have stayed in Vietnam for another five years and killed another two million people for no reason.

The latest Military Times poll showed that two years ago, 60% of active duty troops called themselves Republicans and now only 42% do. That is a huge drop and it has to do with the troops feeling used and hoodwinked by Bush-Cheney and the GOP one too many times. I have also spoken to high-level officers back from Iraq. They do not trust Halliburton, the Saudis or the Bushies anymore. and even if they didn't vote for Kerry in 2004, they respect him in a major way. Same with Jack Murtha.
