Steve, > If a little socialism is good, then a lot is much better right?

If you think about it, the Gates Foundation alone is proof that capitalism works.

The usual suspects on this thread continue to bring up Paris Hilton as an example of why we need socialism, or how we can afford more "safety nets," yet none of them can name a single liberal bill that will directly take money from Paris' wallet and give it to the needy.

>If a little socialism is good, then a lot is much better right?

A little chocolate is good, a lot is bad... what kind of statement is that?

>There's too many safety nets now. I never had any money in the first place, did you?

I worked hard, got a couple of breaks... I know that I wouldn't have gotten nearly as far as I have without growing up with a few connections.

I couple of breaks the other way and I wouldn't be living nearly as well.

>You don't get tired of politicians buying votes by telling their voters it's all your fault?

Nobody's saying it's all my fault! You make this stuff up!

There's too many safety nets now. I never had any money in the first place, did you? We did alright it seems. You don't get tired of politicians buying votes by telling their voters it's all your fault?

Get back to us when you're on your death bed......then we'll see how well capitalism worked for you.
