What I described has nothing to do with recent developments, over fishing and global warming. This was already a fact 10-15 years ago and actually more so back then. In the meantime the price differences are not that big because most of the old meat offered from 5 years old EC freeze houses has been declared no good for human food. Tends to hike the price - and hopefully the quality as well.

You may know that US beef cannot be imported to the EC, right? Too pumped up with hormones, they say. All of it is - possibly except for some Argentina production - but only the US openly admits to that fact. Thus blocked.

Taro
