Colorado makes the national news with one of the largest snow slides in recent years. This is about 45 miles northwest of me and on a highway I've been on since I was about 3 years old. Two cars swept off the highway with 7 people. All are okay with one in the hospital. They are still digging as I type. Normally, they shoot these things down with a highway department howitzer, but this is WAY early for avalanche threats. Winds in the area are to reach 70 to 90 mph overnight.
