The lab coat clerics (scientists) have started a very profitable gravy train for themselves akin to the torturers of the Spanish Inquisition. The consensus gravy train is promulgated by people least able to understand the science behind it such as Wharf Rat and Al Gore. Under the auspice of this science lab coat clerics have successfully imprinted a collective guilt akin to original sin invented by the Catholic Church. All of the above is reinforced by science no one can agree upon or understand so it has to be accepted on faith.
