There is need to elect a democrat president in 2008. And sorry, but Obama while tremendously talented is too green and way too risky. Since we don't need to take such a risk, which is basically throwing a hail Mary pass, why even entertain it. Or if you love Obama so much at lease minimize his smearability by making him VP. We also need someone very experienced to fix the mess Bush will be leaving behind, and a credible commander in chief. Obama has no military type experience whatsoever.
