The operator at the lift told me I had to get off the mt because he could see frost bite on my cheeks. We went down and got a refund. Packed up the car and drove all the way back home. What a wasted trip.

That sounds like some of my experiences skiing in Vermont.

I had a VW Bus back then, and you know the heat in them is notoriously bad. I used to have to scrape frost off from the inside of the windshield. One time I was driving from Johnson back to Burlington, and the guy I was giving a ride to made me stop in Cambridge so he could warm his feet up. He was afraid his toes were getting frostbit.
