It's a well worn story in Iraq, the Bush people always try to wrap themselves in the military, equating any criticism of their botched policies with criticism of the military, but fairly often it turns out they've acted contrary to military advice. Of course, W is the never-mistaken war president, not to mention the decider, so I'm sure it's all somebody else's fault, in the parallel universe "personal responsibility" sense anyway.
