You are probably right about Gore. It's like pro football or something. Can a champ come out of retirement and play again? Sure, if he's ready to take a pounding every day and maybe get re-injured.

Running for president is a full-contact sport and Gore is very happy with his current lifetime. However. I'm sure he has moments where he kicks himself because if he had the obsessive drive needed, he could probably claim the White House in '08.

My big question to Dems is, what if Gore doesn't run? do you really want to nominate a woman or a black guy? And what if Obama doesn't run? Do we all like Hillary as our best possible candidate? Basically, who best beats McCain in the swing states?

Obama fans hate to hear it, but I say we ought to start being very nice to John Kerry. We made need him.
